Our Phlebotomy training program offers a comprehensive 2-day course for individuals looking to learn venipuncture, the surgical puncture of a vein for blood extraction. Participants will gain both theoretical and practical training, covering topics such as legal aspects, infection control, and health and safety. Join us and become a skilled phlebotomist with hands-on practice and experienced instructors.
This course can be adapted to suit a variety of audiences, from the complete novice to those who are skilled but feel their resuscitation skills need updating. Audiences range from parents, school staff and other first aiders through to dentists, nurses and other healthcare professionals. The training is in line with the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines and can be adapted to suit the clients' respects to what age group they may be resuscitating, be it babies, children or adults.

The course aims to update and refresh a previously qualified first aider who has already taken the 3 days course. This 2 day refresher is required every 3 years, though it is recommended that a yearly renewal should be considered. More than 4000 open / public courses available

First Response Emergency Care Level 4 training, awarded by Qualsafe Awards, is a 5-day course for healthcare professionals and first responders. It covers patient assessment, airway management, pharmacology, and trauma care through simulation training. Completing this course equips individuals with high-quality emergency care skills for professional development or workplace care.
Understanding basic first aid for your dog will give you the skills to assist them and prevent them from getting worse before professional help is given by your vet. The certificate is valid for 3 years. All students will receive a free login area to our website where you can download a free student manual and control other settings. Online students can print off their certificate online on completion, and classroom students will receive an official ProTrainings wall certificate and wallet card in the post after the course. The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.

Our Cannulation course sets out to cover aspects relating to knowledge of when Cannulatoin is required within the practice. By the end of the course, delegates will be able to work within the guidelines for Cannulation. They will be able to demonstrate the principles of aseptic non touch technique which is closely related to Catheterisation.
The Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work allows learners to learn develop and demonstrate the skills required for Emergency First Aid specifically Role and responsibility of a First Aider Assessment of an incident Attending to a range of casualties such as minor injuries unresponsiveness choking shock external bleeding The qualification is designed for those who need to be able to undertake Emergency First Aid generally in a work environment as a first line First Aider but may be used for all staff as part of an induction programme.
The newly revised First Aid at Work Regulations now require all First Aiders to refresh their first aid skills on an annual basis. The minimum recommendation is a 3 hour refresher training course once per year. This course is often confused with the First Aid at Work Requalification course which is a 2 day course required to be completed prior to the expiry date of the holders First Aid at Work (3 day course). This annual skills update course should ideally be attended so that those qualified remain competent to carry out first aid duties in the workplace.
